Sorry prabhu, I was just making a little joke. I agree that the answers are there in the books, which I really must study more. In fact I had not seen your suggestions before, but I have now. Thank you for your thoughtful contribution. I think there is plenty of scope for more discussion. For example, before there is any question of a common vision for ISKCON we need to agree upon a definition for the society. What is ISKCON? Who is a member? What exactly is an 'ISKCON devotee'? Then, when we have answered that little question, we can think about everyone who is not an ISKCON member or devotee. How do we want to relate to them? How indeed shall we achieve the noble aim of a 'KC population' -- through establishing varnashrama dharma or whatever? That is what we want, alright, but there are certainly varying opinions about how to get it, all based upon Prabhupada's instructions. Anyway, I think that a good starting point for any 'common vision' and mission statements is the seven purposes of ISKCON, as given by Prabhupada himself. Maybe that will be all we can ever use as a vision for the whole of ISKCON. Kind regards ys Krishna Dharma das
