Mayavadis stress certain aspects of Vedic evidence, and they also reject others, as do the ritviks. However, our policy in dealing with Mayavadis has been outright assault on their ideologies and teachings. In one of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Goswami's pranama mantras, it is said, rupanuga virrudhapa siddhanta-dvanta-harine, ". . . and he does not tolerate anything that is not in line with the teachings of Srila Rupa Goswami." That is just our tradition. Since ritvik is a deviation (i.e., it is not in line with the teachings of Srila Rupa Goswami), we should not tolerate it (hate the sin and not the sinner program). Of course, this is just my interpretation. . . ys KKdas
