I think there is way too much emphasis on "knowing everything". Why become a

bookworm of any scripture? Its over-endeavor for the majority of humans. It is

unnecessary. Life is much simpler than that; do your prescribed duty in

accordance with your guna/karma and chant the holy names of God at the same

time. Bas(whatever that means. Sorry I'm not hip to this but I think it means

"done, thats it"?)

Too many are thinking that they have to spend every waking moment getting in

the proximity of a "sadhu" or big-gun guru in order to be recognized as

"advanced" in the eyes of others instead of concentrating on whatever humble

duties they have as human beings anywhere in the universe and being recognized

by the Supreme Lord.

Very little knowledge is actually necessary. One need only appreciate that the

Supreme Godhead has taken the reins of His beloved friend Arjun in order to

help him fulfill his daiva varnasrama-dharma duties. One can be reading the

Bhagavad-gita upside down and backwards and still get the perfection.

We should stop building totem-poles of jnani accomplishments as the measure of

devotion to the Supreme Lord.
