This definitely sounds like an opening to establish a preaching contact with your local librarian. She'll probably first refer you to Statistaical Abstracts. As you or your bhakta establish contact with your local library staff, you may also want to take some prasadam sweets from time to time. Also, check out their collection. I discovered that my local library had three editions of the Bhagavad-gita, but not Srila Prabhupada's. That was a situation I was able to remedy. Librarians are highly trained to research the kind of information that you are seeking. Let's give them the opportunity to use that training in Krsna's service.
