Guest guest
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. > I think, (or I made the observation!) that too often devotees or aspiring > devotees, seem to close down theyr natural ability to "think", given to > them by Krsna and just bubble wathever they have heard, or read somewhere > to whomever they meet, without taking into consideration also the time, > place and circumstances, or the person to whom they speak, or if they have > a little moore propensity of fanaticism in them, they just do whatever > they supose to do like robots without involving also theyr thinking > capacity in it. Sometimes we are taught that way: Dont ask questions just follow your authorities! Forget everything you have learned untill now and start all over! Thus we see people loosing contact with their natural Godgiven intelligence and becoming grown up babies. I find it strange. I dont think we can simply forget what we learned in our lifes from birth, if we have to reject it we also have to use so much energy to reject ourselves as persons. In this way all dealings goes "just after the book" and often becomes impersonal. Luckily when the babies reach their teens many become rebellions and persons again Thats when the real test comes: Can I be Krishna-conscious and honest to my self in the same time? Or do I have to reject one of them? Y.S. Gunamani d.d.
