What is your > recommendation for us to say who are getting such type of "spiritual flak" > here in Russia? According to my humble opinion, the answer is simple. The principles they quote are okay. But the primemost principle for us is the instruction of the uttama adhikari who has influenced our lives the most i.e Srila Prabhupada. And Srila Prabhupada has instructed us and taught by his own example not to search outside ISKCON. So following the instructions of the uttama adhikari Srila Prabhupada is of primary importance to us, his followers. Other principles come afterwards. Actually in the Krsna Bhajanamrita it is said that a disciple of a less advanced diksha guru can approach a more advanced siksha only after receiving the permission of his spiritual master. And even after that he has heard from the siksha guru he has to come and confirm it with his diksha guru and then and only then he can put it into practice. So if the present ISKCON gurus are prohibiting their disciples to go and accept siksha from the GM gurus in pursuance with the orders of Srila Prabhupada, then it is the duty of the granddisciples not to go to them as confirmed by Narhari Sarkara Thakura. So this as per the sastra. > > Or if that is not feasible, then like Rasikananda who mades disciples > > but brought them to the feet of Syamananda, so we should bring our > > disciples to take darshan and hear siksa from the lips of Uttama > > adhikari vaisnavas. But the uttama adhikari whom we are following, our founder acharya, has never taught us to do that and warned us against that. There was an attempt to do this but we know the result that it ended in almost splitting our movement.
