Unfortunately my hard drive does not contain an archive of Srila-isms. These

posts I am referring to where all found on the VAD conference. I remember

Proffessor Burkhardt also made some posts regarding some of your points. If

COM still has these conversations archived, than I am sure we would all be

further enlightened to be able to study them once again.

Guadiya Vaisnavas are considered the most desirable of association. Just that

some particular Guadiya adherants require more care when associating with them

than others.

you or anyone else who reads it any good.

Yes, I agree. It is a good thing for us that ISKCON devotees, the GBC in

particular, are not sadhus by any stretch of the imagination. That way we can

continue to cut and paste them mercilessly without offense.

At this point I am not sure who you are addressing your comments to. I never

initiated any comments comparing present or previous sadhus working with or

without the ISKCON institution.

First, the individuality of the jiva soul is an eternal condition, as far as

the standard Vaisnava understanding goes from reading Srila Prabhupada's

books.

Second, my personal desire is to help maintain ISKCON as an institution

dedicated to Srila Prabhupada's presentation of Krsna consciousness.

Prabhupada said he was impressed that anyone stuck with their desire to

continue in their attempts to become Krsna consciousness. I would like to say

I feel similary inspired.

If some may find inspiration outside of the ISKCON institution, I will not

criticise. But I don't feel comforable with what may be seen as an attempt to

change the nature of ISKCON with regards to it's relationship with it's own

founder/acarya.

If stating those feelings opens me to being labeled a 'hippie', I feel

prepared to be able to handle that. Boy, sometimes life sure can be tough.
