It may be so that it does not imply a "discrete" point in time,

be it material or spiritual. The real issue here is to what kind

of conclusion we are interested to come by analyzing the words.

To me, from this particular Srila Prabhupada's purport, it is

quite clear that Srila Prabhupada speaks about the living

entity that somehow or other ended up in this material existence.

Is it so or is it not so? And WHAT *information* Srila Prabhupada

is giving us about that living entity? That he used to be living

together peacefully with the Lord in the spiritual world. Is it

so, or is it not so? That's all.

Now, it is out of any importance WHAT "other" meanings of the word

"when" are being given by some OED, so far so we keep the above

information intact. If this manipulation with the words "when"

and "original" leads us to some to conclusion that the living entity

was never before living with Krsna together in His abode, and that

*this* is what Prabhupada is trying to say to us in his purport, then

such over intelligence of ours is simply bogus and a nonsense.

Vijay's attempt to prove (by using his OED) how Prabhupada meant here

that the living entity was not with Krsna *prior* to his conditional

existence in this world, but is perhaps "material-world-born living

entity" (like "American-born Indian") is really upsetting. It is kind

of ridiculing with this purport of Srila Prabhupada and with everybody's

intelligence here.
