Is there a cash bonus with these blessings? But more seriously, I have always found it difficult to comprehend how Prabhupada, who I take as being both extremely intelligent by any estimation and a very prolific preacher, could not get through to his disciples that he wanted someone or something to replace the standard practice of an ongoing disciplic succession. He preached so strongly on these points, but now through word jugglerly and selective quotations, it almost appears as if all his preaching was for naught in light of these 'new realizations'. Let's say Prabhupada wanted a particular GM leader to take a leading position in his society -- it is extremely curious that the primary source of that information is that particular GM leader, while so many others appear clueless as to the nature of these instructions. In my mind, Prabhupada was extremely sharp and to the point, and thus I have grave doubts he would let something like that slip through cracks, even if faced with the gravest of conspiracies ever possibly imaginable. I mean anyone can say Prabhupada told them anything imaginable, as in 'Prabhupada said...", and we know Prabhupada said about that. ys, Sthita
