Yeah, er, ah, I mean, HARI BOL, PRABHU, that sounds so blissful!

Now all I have to do is to remember how to join a conference.

Thanks. I would have eventually remembered but with a farmer's market to

prepare for and go to on Saturday and soccer on sunday, computer time gets

scarce.

One devotee suggested I comment on this to let you all know how to join

conferences. I am getting a lot of requests to add devotees.

So if you can do this, great, otherwise I will add you.

I think that people who access com through internet using another email

system, will need to be added by me. But those of you wishing to join any

conference and using the Wincom program can follow these instructions, to

join.

Are you sitting comfortably?

Then we'll begin.

In the Wincom main window (the one you have when you first start the

program) click on 'commands'. A box will drop down, move the mouse so that

the pointer is over 'conferences', another box will appear, so then move the

mouse over 'membership' on the new box, and click on it.

Another box will appear with a list. Click on the blank space next to 'join

a conference'. When you have done this there is a blank space at the bottom

of the list with 'conference name' above it. Click on the square button to

the right of that blank space, and another box will appear. Then simply

begin to type the name of the conference you want to join. As you type

'Practical varnasrama' by the time you reach 'pract' the conference name

should have appeared so just double click on that or hit 'enter'.

Then in the unread texts box, just type '999' if you want all the texts, or

specify the number of texts you want to see. As of the date of this post

there are around 20 texts there.

Once you have done this, hit 'OK' to finish, or 'Apply' if you want the box

to stay, so you can join another conference.

This creates a text, which is then updumped the next time you log on, and

then you will be a member, and you will get the texts in the same session.

So that's it.

Any problems, let me know.
