So Arjuna when he was on the battlefield of Kuruksetra and told Krsna that he "want to act as a brahmana" so to speak, and forgive the Kauravas their wrongdoings for the sake of peace and propagating the write way of action in "Krsna conscousness", should have done this, because he would have acted Krsna conscious, is it that wath you want to say by this? Does not Krsna autorize certain way of actions for certain varnas in the society? Is not that Krsna consciousness, to think and act acording to the particular varna one may be in, because that pleases Krsna? Otherwise one my displease him by not executing his duties properly and thus acumulate bad karma. I think that may be one way of looking at our present problems, in our society. Certain devotees acted out of emergency in certain varna positions, wich require certain varna qualifications in order to fulfill their duties properly and Krsna consciouss for the good of the society, but who neglected their duty because of not being properly engaged acording to the varna they fit in the most, thus acumulated bad karma for themselves and the society of devotees. Does that please Krsna? When I speak of "varna" in the context of a society structure I mean a certain autorized post or position ocupied by someone who ist most fit for this post due to his particular varna qualifications. That is in my opinion the corect understanding of the clasical Varnasrama Dharma society as oposed to the emergency varnasrama one may have until now in ISKCON if at all.(Where are the autorized ksatriya posts or ocupations?) And ones there is such a society structure created in an autorized way, the devotees acting in this "varnas" or positions should best fulfill the requerements needed by having the particular varna inclinations, than they would be most effective four the good of the society, thus pleasing Krsna by their work or proper atitude taken acording to their post or varna. I would definitely not incourage that anyone who has a ksatriya nature but is not yet engaged in the society structure in an autorized way in a position fit four him, should try to make justice on his own (the club on the head) when he sees injustice in the society of devotees. Acting in an unautorized way acording to ones varna inclinations would definitelly mean chaos in the society and Wild West mentality. So please dont understand me wrong, everything would have to be done in an autorized way acording to the four divisions of the varnasrama society in order to act Krsna consciouss and thus please Krsna by his particular work or service, in my opinion. Then I think the social body would be in proper order. ys Harsi das
