Guest guest
I have been referred to as 'Chairman Mao' by Sthita-dhi-Muni dasa. I believe Mao Tse Tung was an atheistic communist dictator who perpetrated human rights crimes and abuses to many of his countrymen. I do not know how or why I deserve such comparison. I am not atheistic. Nor have I been a party, directly or as an accomplice, to any such human indignities. I have witnessed and read of similar human indignities which occured under the direct supervision of ISKCON leaders in the recent and distant past, however. I have voiced my abhorence to such criminally negligent so-called "leaders" directly, face-to-face, and in my correspondences. If these so-called leaders who are responsible for the crimes against the devotees of the Lord are allowed to continue without recourse what future can there be? All of the leaders of ISKCON were NOT a party to the crimes committed and I do not hold any grudge against them; they are devotees, mahatmas. I have always maintained this. While I think most of them are not qualified to manage nor have they undergone any leadership or management training, this does not mean they are not devotees of the Lord and cannot be engaged in appropriate occupations according to their guna and karma. This would be a positive and welcome change for them and those who have suffered from their mismanagement. They would likely make excellent brahmanas, vaisyas or sudras; whichever they are suited for. All positions are excellent engagements when dedicated to the Lord. Sthita-dhi-Muni dasa alleges that I am somehow guilty of conspiring with "my followers" to promote a communistic dictatorship. I have never promoted any program other those promoted by Srila Prabhupada in his various varnasram conversations and references in his books. If I promoted something different please quote me where I said it. But Sthita-dhi does not quote from scripture. EVER. He has not once provided a scriptural reference for his "arguments" but instead, in defeat, and defiance of Srila Prabhupada's wishes for implementation of varnasrama in ISKCON, resorts to calling me Chairman Mao, a communist dictator. I have been called worse and coming from this Sthita-dhi it has only a very tiny effect on me. It proves his immaturity and childishness. And his cowardice. I look forward to my visit to Alachua in coming months to meet him face to face so we can "finish" this discussion of my being a communist dictator, man-to-man. Srila Prabhupada was not a communist dictator, Sthita-dhi, as much as you try to veil your stubbnorn refusal to accept his program to divide the devotees according to varna for their ultimate salvation. Your fighting the natural system created by Krsna will prove fruitless and inauspicious to anyone you may convince of your baseless arguments. Please quote us some scripture which directs a devotee in Srila Prabhupada's, Lord Caitanya's, and Krsna's movement to deny their natural sva-dharma, varna nature, ignore and not concern themselves with varnasrama. >From the very first day that Srila Prabhupada sat down in Tompkins Square Park with his varnasrama sannyasi tridanda and kartalas to the last days of time here on earth telling us that varnasrama was the ONLY thing he didn't complete, he was preaching varnasrama in the service of the Lord. Why didn't he just wear bluejeans and a sweatshirt when he came to America instead of the varnasrama-dharma uniform of a sannyasi? You say I am a "whiner" as the result of my comments on this conference. At least my "whining" includes numerous references from my guru maharaja supporting the exact same subjects I am "whining" about. Yet you, somehow derive that these are the symptoms of a "communist dictator" non-devotee. You have never quoted scripture once in your many "contributions" to this conference regarding this subject and just expect us to accept it on your say so? Sounds like the GBC when they told us the same thing about zonal acaryas. It's not whining or complaining that I do. It is proving through reference from guru, sadhu and sastra that the present and past 25 years of "management" by the "leaders" of ISKCON is in direct defiance of Srila Prabhupada's orders to start varnasrama colleges in EVERY center of HIS movement for more than 25 years. As the result, there have been horrendously sinful acts perpetrated against innocent victims for which those who are responsible for such crimes have NEVER publically admitted or apologized for, nor have they attempted to prosecute the perpetrators many of whom are still active in management and other activities within ISKCON. Thus they are criminal accomplices. Those leaders who are innocent of these charges must come forward and assist publically the authorities to investigate and prosecute those who are guilty of the charges and their accomplices. My firm position is that ISKCON must implement varnasrama principles of social management, dividing into varnas, etc., and AT THE SAME TIME, continue chanting, dancing and feasting. This has ALWAYS been my position since first learning about varnasrama from Srila Prabhupada. BOTH things must be done. ISKCON has not provided equal time to varnasrama when Srila Prabhupada said it was a PRIORITY. "I am Paramatma, the Supersoul present in everyone's heart, and it is My direct order that human society must follow the principles of varna and asrama. A system of human civilization that does not promote varna and asrama is nothing but polished animal society. The mission of human life is to go back home, back to Godhead. To fulfill this mission, the system of varna and asrama must be followed." Krsna Book 3.
