In this analogy, the 'pen' represents the intellectual class, which in Vedic

times would be analogist with the brahmana class. You are wrong to thing the

brahmana's control the military -- the brahmana's control their senses, a much

more powerful exersize.

 

The ksatriyas are not obedient to the brahmanas as if the brahmanas were more

fearsome ksatriyas with bigger badder armies. If we think in this way, we will

simply reestablish the elements that lead to the fall of the Catholic Church.

The historical fact that the brahmans lost their brahminical character is what

Sure, but without a healthy brahminical society to nurture and protect, what

is the use?

 

I think part of our difficulty is that sometimes we become too king

consciousness, and not enought Krsna consciousness.
