Guest guest
I guess this must be the post from Jim Lord's website. Now the Navy is saying it was just "contingency planning." Who to believe? Anyway, my family noticed that Brunswick, Maine made the "total failure" list -- for sewage. Naturally, the headlines of the Brunswick Times Record declared that our sewage will be ready. Just the same, I'm glad I already have two 5 gallon plastic buckets and a copy of J.C. Jenkins "Humanure Handbook." Now I just have to get my son to go to the town recycling center and fill a couple plastic trash cans with shredded wood chips. Another great idea for all those who live near trees: This fall don't burn any leaves. Go out on a dry day and rake them up and put them in bags which you can store in your garage, or even along the base of your house for added insulation. Then if your sewage system does break down, at least you have enough mulch to get you and your family through a couple weeks with a minimum of odor and a maximum of sanitation safety. This is an alternative sanitation solution which does not cost any money. Krsna is providing us with the leaves for free. your servant, Hare Krsna dasi "WWW: Bhuta-bhavana (Dasa) ACBSP (Sandpoint ID - USA)" wrote: > [Text 2592248 from COM] > The following info came out a month ago, and the Navy is now denying it: > > > > The Pentagon Papers of Y2K > Cities At Risk From The Year 2000 Computer Crisis > > Secret Government Study Reveals Massive Y2K Problems in American Cities > > > ...44 cities where "total failure is likely." > > City > Population > E[lectricity] > W[ater] > G[gas] > S[sewage] > > Baltimore MD > 736,000 > x > x > > Bethlehem PA > 71,000 > x > x > > Bremerton WA > 38,000 > x > x > > Brunswick ME > 15,000 > x

Well, I guess maybe I'm fuller of it than others, but I would be getting more than 2 buckets of sawdust or whatever. :-)

The quantity of sawdust/leaves/shredded tree mulch I need for my family should be at least 2 *garbage cans* full. ys hkdd
