Dear Harsi Prabhu, Guessing that your first language is (probably) not English, I suggest you may have misunderstood Madhava Ghosh. He was not comparing the two (Harikesa and Kirtanananda), nor slighting Harikesa Prabhu, but to the contrary, proposing that this "macho sannyasi syndrome" (as I call it) that had infected Harikesa was more or less propounded and sponsored by Kirtanananda, ISKCON's original model of a Western sannyasi. Do I have it right, Ghosh? Dasanudasa, Srila dasa
Guest guest
Hare Krishna. Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Whilst it was nice to hear this well-presented missive supporting HH Narayana Maharaja, it would feel more complete to hear a similar presentation explaining his re-initiating of both Prabhupada's and 'ISKCON guru''s disciples. Is that right Madhava-ghos > prabhu? Exactly. Certainly we normally expect more preaching from sannyasis than grhastras, but Kirtanananda twisted that to a degree way out of balance.
