The amount of inteligence depends on guna (varna). Brahmanas are the most inteligent people, because they are acting in the mode of goodness. Ksatriyas have the same inteligence as brahmanas, but because they are acting in the mode of passion, they sometimes get bewildered by passion. Therefore they have to take guidence from brahmanas. All material bodies are made of different combinations of material modes. Material intelligence depends on guna and karma (varna). Here we have definition of spiritual inteligence: "To solve such dilemmas, Srila Rupa Gosvami has given a very clear conception of intelligence. He says: Visayan, material affairs, should be accepted without attachment. and everything should be dovetailed with the service of the Lord. That is real intelligence (manina). Becoming a family man or king in the material world is not harmful if one accepts everything for Krishnas service." SB. 5.1.12 Ys.
