Guest guest
>What, precisely, is "taking shelter of Krsna"? Some may say that taking shelter of Krsna is to chant 16 rounds and then chant some more while doing the dishes or something and then read a page or two from the Krsna Book. All that is fine, of course. No doubt about it. The question still remains, though: why be content with just that? Wouldn't that be kanistha? Isn't taking shelter of Krsna to actually trust Krsna and be bold enough to venture outside one's own familiar bubble? How about using one's actions, mind, words, using all the skills and potentials that Krsna ever gave you, to address the issues on hand in a coherent, significant, effective manner? By effective I mean not merely re-actively but also pro-actively as well as according to time, place, actors, institutional culture, spiritual realizations, etc. By coherent I mean not a hit-and-run approach, not in isolation, etc. By significant I mean, among other things, founded on a clear understanding of the (individual and collective) spiritual and karmic factors involved, aimed at the right spiritual and karmic goals, etc. That's one idea, perhaps... your servant, Kunti-Devi dasi
