Y2K - bin Laden New Year's Terrorist Attack intercepted

Once I read in a german newspaper that the media in USA is full of

paranoia about terrorist attack from the middle east.

 

But they said, it is not such a big danger, because undergroundterrorist

mainly attack little groups of people (often politicians).

 

Could it be that the government in US has a scandal from their own

terrorismen from which the attention should be distracted?

Or they like to make some new securitylaws for CIA or NSA.
