The example of the car is meant in this way: The vehicle may be first class, but if handled recklessly by the driver, then the result will be undesirable. My point was that the gurukula model given by Srila Prabhupada was/is first class. But due to gross misapplication of, perversion of, neglect of (etc.) that model, by so many certain individuals, extremely unfortunate and tragic situations resulted. That reply was in answer to Mother Sraddha's claim that if the result was bad, then the experiment was bad. One may counter by saying that we should judge a thing by the result it produces. Yes, indeed, a bad product will be the result of a bad application or perversion of a good formula.
