How come devotees are so proud

dont call me Prabhu

when I am playing soccer

for Krishna

while seeing the Supersoul

in every sole.

How did women end up

in all these different positions

while others

deposit themselves

rolling on the ground

laughing amongst millions of dollars.

 

Who needs diapers

when the satvic toilet

is available

and roosters ready

to wake you up

at any time.

Running water

in internet kind of lines

pressure

snails to try to cross internal borders

while someone is waving

the Bhagavatam on the sideline

made of copper.

 

I am better than any karmi

thats simple thinking isn´t it

and in the meantime

dont forget that I have something on you

from previous lifes.

 

Egalitarian animalfarm

while I distribute

perfection

to the cats and dogs

in a simultanious

struggle to overcome

my own imperfections

 

Still Srila Prabhupada said

only fifty procent of my work is completed

and everything is there in my books.

Through the mist of an early morning

people on their way to work

face the temporary nature

of reality

and a glimse

of a boy frantically running away

with the glasses of the owl.

 

Sorry to wake you up

but there is a whole dusin of roosters

sitting in a tree outside your window

calling their morning call

allthough Jesus appearently

wasn`t born at Chrismas

at all:

" Give back those glasses

and start chanting

the holy name

for a lifetime

or more."

Can you imagine?

What a blessing!

 

Despite bad english

and horrible manners

nevertheless

remain fallen most absolutely flat on the face

of mother earth

under the moons extended rays

of compassion

Please grab me in your open arms

and shake some faith

into my broken heart

once more.
