I will have nothing to do with it. > It is not proper. I agree with you Maharaja, except that I note that you are very selective in your application of this dictum. You only apply it to your friend and long time supporter MRdd (we know that you are a leading proponent of feminism in ISKCON) but exclude others. This is a decided conflict of interest. No wonder nothing is happening on this issue. It has been almost 2 months and nothing has been done. Last year at this time you and the rest of your feminist crew (Sudharma dd, and Anuttama) wasted no time to condemn GHQ, without even attempting to contact anyone involved to find out their side of the story. Your publication of a NA GBC EC censure of GHQ on CHAKRA (run by MRdd) threw fuel on an already hateful situation created by "Ardhabuddhi Dasa." Why is that none of us got any telephone calls from you? Why didn't we get any hand holding? Rather you added to the "screaming, yelling, demonizing and demanding blood" of GHQ members by your endorsement of the rot that "Ardhabuddhi" wrote. This is the last word in hypocrisy. You should resign from this situation because of a conflict of interest. Recently in the UK there was a much publicized case of the arrest of General Pinochet. The 3 man panel of Law Lords decided he could be extradited to Spain. When it was discoved that one of the Law Lords had a connection to Amnesty International, a group that had been after Pinochet, the judgement was called in question and for the frst time in hundreds of years the Law Lords went into session to decide again, this time excluding the one with an apparent conflict of interest and expanding the panel to 5 instead of 3. It was determined that it was unlikely that the lawlord who had connection to Amnesty International did anything wrong but they wnet to this great length anyway. The reason was explained thusly by a spokeman for the govenment "not only must justice be done --- it must also appear to be done ---there can be no doubt in the mind of the public of any impropriety." >From your behavior it seems that ISKCON has got a very long way to go before justice will be done. Until then we will simply take solace in the law of karma and the unerring judgement of Lord Yamaraja. For as Chanakya pandita says: "just as a calf can find its mother in a herd of 10,000 cows, in the same way your actions will find you." Hare Krsna!
