Those are the two different rolles assigned... > -- Prisni I think your assessment about boys being brought up to conquer the world is correct for karmi society, but I think for devotees, the boys should rather be brought up to protect the world, and should take pride in facilitating the excellence of others, just like a good general takes pride in developing the excellence of his soldiers. If we read the news today, we can see so many examples of men who apparently have been brought up to conquer the world. That simply creates oppression, torture, slaughter and misery. In Krsna consciousness, men should be brought up to protect. That is the meaning of ksatriya -- to protect from harm.
