My fault is asking a rhetorical question. They would not publish changes without Srila Prabhupada's approval because they are not certain he would approve them even though they think the changes are necessary. They all have experience of Srila Prabhupada disapproving of changes which were very minor compared to the changes made after his disappearance. It would seem dangerous to one's spiritual life to take the chance that one is making changes to their spiritual masters books without approval. Did Srila Prabhupada ever make changes to his spiritual master's books or ANY other parampara guru's books AND put the changed books in the original authors name? > PS: Now for a question with a possibly relevant answer, perhaps you > could explain why you have sent the COM discussions in this thread to > the ritviks? If the answer to the above question is as you speculate will it mean I will get kicked-out of ISKCON? Sorry, I left voluntarily a long, long time ago so I didn't have to associate with people with such attitudes. I have not had the opportunity to read The Final Order. I really do not know much about the contents. But I do know that many of my Godbrothers consider themselves members of a reform movement. I am definitely in agreement that there are reforms needed in ISKCON. Also, some of the reform members are favorable to stopping changes to Srila Prabhupada's books and therefore I consider them an ally in this regard. If there are other common agreements I welcome those. I probably won't agree with everything they say but then I disagree with tons of stuff that ISKCON leaders say, too.
