We can't assume that his service would be rejected. Normally I would blast this as blatant party-line blind following. But I have found speaking to some people is like talking to a wall. And actually this sentiment is appropriate, given the right set of circumstances. Which, of course, is not what we have. If the GBC were doing the sensible things instead of the insensible, this would be the proper protocol for most things notwithstanding the current subject. But they are NOT doing the sensible thing - recognizing and implementing varnasrama-dharma and they ARE doing, or endorsing at least, the insensible thing - editing Srila Prabhupada's books.
