Guest guest
Hare Krsna dasi Here are some biogas titles available from Intermediate Technology publishers [ their website is at bottom of list]. I recommend the GATE titles by Ludwig Sasse. Best idea -- instead of purchasing them, try to get them from Interlibrary Loan, then purchase only the ones you like. [Also, here is the UN title (1984 I believe, so it's a little old) Updated Guidebook on Biogas Development., 0000, ISBN: 9211192269, United Nations, US Dollars 17.50., Out of Print.] ***********************8 [Also, here is an abstract for one article IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion, Dec 1995 v10 n4 p736(11) Design scenarios for integrated renewable energy systems. R. Ramakumar; I. Abouzahr; K. Krishnan; K. Ashenayi. Author's Abstract: COPYRIGHT Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc. 1995 The wide variety of renewable energy resources and their highly site-specific and variable nature, coupled with different types and qualities of energy needs, pose a challenging problem to the designers of Integrated Renewable Energy Systems (IRES). This paper discusses some typical design scenarios and the formulation of designs using the knowledge-based design tool IRES-KB with the aid of KAPPA[R]-PC development tools. A remote village with no electrical grid connection is chosen for this study since renewables are most likely to make their greatest impact in such locations. The versatility of IRES-KB is brought out in the discussion of the results. KEYWORDS Integrated Renewable Energy Systems (IRES), IRES Design Scenarios, IRES Design Examples, IRES Design Tradeoffs, Photovoltaic systems, Wind-Electric Conversion Systems, Hybrid Systems, Biogas Usage, Renewable Energy System Design, Stand Alone Energy System Design, Artificial Intelligence Applications, Knowledge Based Design Approach. ] ******************** ****Here are the ITDG Biogas Titles [please check their homepage for 4000 other development small-scale technology titles]:*** A Chinese Biogas Manual: Popularising technology in the countryside Edited By Ariane Van Buren - ITP - £8.95 pb Biogas 2: Building a better biogas unit Fao . - FAO - £3.00 pb Biogas Processes for Sustainable Development in Developing Countries Fao - FAO - £16.95 pb Biogas production: What does it invovle - Agromisa - £5.95 Biogas Promotion in Kenya: A review of experiences Stephen Gitonga - IT Kenya - £5.95 pb Biogas: what it is, how it is made, how to use it Fao . - FAO - £3.00 pb ***Engines for Biogas: Theory, Modification, Economic Operation Mitzlaff, Klaus Von. - GATE - £9.95 pb Ferrocement Biogas Digester (6) - Intl.
