Hare Krishna, Jatu Prabhu and all others! I'm back in cyberspace, after a couple of weeks in cybervoid. You have touched in this discussion a very sensitive subject, which is not 100% clear for me, and many others. What worries me is that I see in many places quite duplitious behaviour. I will not call the names, it's not so important. So the situation is like this. One devotee, after been a bona-fide ISKCON guru, falls from his position and loosing all social recognition. His books now considered as deviating from bona-fide philosophy, ISKCON authorities forbids listening his former lectures on tapes, on the basis that since he falled down, he never was a pure devotee, but cheater. Ok, let's say maybe it's true. Maybe he never was a pure devotee, maybe he never preached in bona fide way, maybe his former lectures are full of theological mistakes and misconseptiones. Maybe. But then why none of his spiritual brothers or any ISKCON authorities or gurus never did find it before, but only now, after his falldown? In fact, they were praising him as a pure devetee, as a bona-fide spiritual master, and authorized preacher. Doesn't it show their spiritual incompetence? Or they were all bona fide in that time, and only yogamaya covered their eyes with a blindfold? >I am no authority on this, and I wonder what others know about it. Maybe I >get killed for even saying such a thing, but I would like to get this clear, >if it is possible. I guess I will stand in the same line with you at the time of execution. Anyway, there two alternatives: Krishna smashes us for offensive attitude toward his pure devotees, or nothing happens. your humble friend, Oleg. P.S. Where is Special Agent Sage, when he is so needed?
