Your foolish (but extremely intelligent!, Janesvara's edit)servant Gunamani d.d. Great question! Unfortunately, that Prema bhakta you speak of is Dead and Gone, I guess. And there is no approaching him necessary now. After all, we are told diksa can only be given personally/bodily/directly by living pure devotee mahabhagavata's (otherwise what is the value of the diksa) and therefore there must be several of them on the planet right now because there are a lot of "gurus" giving diksa directly to their disciples. So these diksa gurus are more powerful than any siksa guru who is dead and gone and because they are dead and gone they are therefore incapable of accepting disciples. So why should we seek out a dead and gone siksa guru? And I am going to stop chanting my regular morning prayer to Srila Rupa Goswami: "When will Srila Rupa Goswami, who has established within this material world the mission to fulfill the desire of Lord Caitanya, give me shelter under his lotus feet?" He is dead and gone and therefore cannot give me shelter under his lotus feet ever again. I also asked a question a while ago but never got an answer: Arjuna is the beginning of our parampara. When did he take diksa and who are his diksa disciples?
