The striking thing is that when somebody's initiating guru falls down, then both he and the relationship between him and the disciples are taken for granted to be the matter for dragging through a public forum. Like some public vivisection exercise. When a father is at home then the children feel strong to stand on the doorway, infront of any undesirable and unpleasant visit: "You can't get here, this is a private place." But when another children's father is run over by a truck, then they feel free to rush in and examine and (de)evaluate there anything they like. But my father is still my father, even if run over by a truck, even if taken in a hospital or, "ultimately", on a graveyard.
