This would certainly put to rest any further argumentation as to who should be the acarya in the movement and he could give diksa to everyone seeking the same. It would really end a lot of devisiveness. I'm serious. > > This got me wondering, who exactly 'intalled' Srila Prabhupada as an acarya. I wonder if 'installed' is an appropriate term for such a set of circumstances. In my mind, it is certainly not a good idea for institutions to indulge in such 'installation' activities. I don't believe Srila Prabhupada's god brothers ever accepted him on the same level as Srila Bhaktisiddhanta -- for whatever variety of reason -- one more possibly benign one being they were his god brothers and not his disciples. One does not need to find someone who 'is just like Srila Prabhupada' in order to successfully take advantage of the diksa process. Only Srila Prabhupada is just like Srila Prabhupada. ys, Sthita-dhi
