That's besides the continued abuse of women, cows and children over the last 10 years since the demise of their bogus zonal acarya system. > There will always be abuse -- but I am in no way condoning that -- I am simply stating it as a fact. As our brahminical culture within ISKCON increases, so will also the influence of the mode of goodnes in all our dealings. The mode of goodness cannot be leglislated. Practicing Krsna consciousness doesn not gaurentee us a lifetime pass to hang out with Ms. Jean on the Romper Room show. > > > Some were definitely not "saved from material life" before they were allowed by our leaders to be put into positions which allowed them to mentally and physically abuse their disciples. One would naturally be wary of the judgment of such leaders. Are all those leaders gone now? > In the case of the NY temple chicken on the altar situation, Prabhupada also blamed the followers. At some point is becomes a cop out to simply point fingers at 'those leaders over there'. Do not worry, 'those' leaders will all be culpable for their actions, as so shall we too. > > > If a person dedicated his life to reading, studying, worshiping those > Bhaktivedanta purports accepting Srila Prabhupada only as his siksa guru would he meet with success? By success I mean Krsna consciousness. > All the activities of our ISKCON institution are meant to be based on Srila Prabhupada's purports. Our practice of the disciplic succession is also based on Prabhupada's puports. Surely for a devotee to guide his personal life based on Prabhupada's purports will bring nothing but auspiciousness. But basing one's life on serving Srila Prabhupada does not endorse some neophyte idea that I am okay, and everyone else who I find disagreable is simply a bogus practitioner of Srila Prabhupada's numerous instructions. ys, Sthita
