If you go to this web site http://www.artrans.com/rmsg/toc.htm you can find many articles and resources freely available about how-to for many things from soap making to weaving cloth etc. ys Bd

This is the proper sequence for procecessing flax into linen thread: 1. Rippling (see image) 2. Retting (rotting -- no image) 3. Breaking with flax break (see image) 4. Scutching (no image) 5. Hackling with hackle (see image) 6. Spinning with distaff (see image)

Nistula prabhu says that COM strips all attachments. This is probably a good policy for them, as it reduces the risk of devotees receiving attachments like the current ZIP worm virus. In the meantime, I guess the only way I can send it to you is if you have another e-mail address outside of COM. That's what I did for Nistula. I got the attachments in the post you sent to the apocalypse conference. I get attachments all the time from com, that is not a problem. It seems though that sometimes some attachments just dont make it. I dont know why. It maybe that com strips attachments from outside, but I often receive and send attachments without problem. I was doing it a lot for Mayapur project. Anyway thanks, very informative, good illustrations. Ys Samba das
