Yep, as in everything, an intelligent balance can be useful.

I was attempting a sarcastic remark, but it got cut short. Basically, even if

our 'elevated' Vaisnavas are not transcendental, then surely they will feel

pain, being influenced by conditional desires. This could suggest there is no

comfortable position in the material world that we need to feel envious of.
