The point is not to experience the other side, as I have pointed out many times. The idea is to adapt your material situation so that you can live your life in peace (and happiness?). I don't know how many devotees who have told me "you are psychologically disturbed, seek out a doctor to get cured". Or my spiritual master "you are not happy. Why? devotees should be happy". And now when I follow the devotee advice, found a doctor and got my diagnosis and cure, when the psychological disturbance goes away by themselves and I get happy, then many get disturbed by the nature of the cure, and invent all kind of pseudo-philosophy how actually it is my karma to suffer, how it is wrong of me to do this, and all other things. Well, if suffering stops, I guess the bad karma has run out. If you do some adjustment in life, and the body starts to self-heal. That all kind of problems just disappear by themselves, I guess that was a good healthy adjustment. ys Prisni dasi
