Samba is right. This is why Srila Prabhupada wrote his books and made it his

absolute priority during his lila here in the material world. His books give

us the association of pure Vaisnava devotees. This is the magnanimity of our

guru maharaja; he freely delivered the association of pure Vaisnava devotees

to anyone and everyone through his divine Books.

There is no fence around them nor any hard and fast rules for qualifying to

read them other than minimal reading ability.

 

He also said there are two programs for spiritual advancement which he

preached; the chanting of the holy names of the Lord are sufficient to deliver

everyone and, his books, for those who have a desire to develop scientific

knowledge of God.

 

His programs do not change until another parampara guru has appeared and MAY

decide to adjust things according to time and circumstance. I do not believe

that that "torch" has been passed as yet?
