In Upadesamrta, Rupa Goswami has never offered such sectarian "guidelines" for making spiritual advancement. > > Because someone is elevated does not mean we need to enter into a disciplic relationship. For instance, in ordinary affairs, while there may be many qualified parents, and some could argueabley be better parents than our own, there is still a special intimate relationship with our own parents that is not readibly dublicated, even if somehow we wished to do so. I, for one, have little doubt in the relationship I seem to have with Srila Prabhupada. In another words, that you have found some inspiration in the association of a Vaisnava outside of Prabhupada's disciplic family is your choice, and I am not going to argue against it. But that you seem emotionally unsettled to find that there are devotees who remain satisfied within Prabhupada's immediate family is unfortunate, in my mind. It simply creates needless offenses. That you relentlessly seem to feel you need to 'prove' something to us seems almost psycological to me. With that in mind, lets try a new tact -- okay Srila Prabhu, you are an extremely elevated soul, so elevated that us crass little aspiring Vaisnava's cannot seem to appreciate your exalted qualities. So please do us a little favor so that we will not continue to make offenses at your lotus feet that surely must displease Krsna and the Gopis. Please go someplace else with your relentless interfraticidal Guadiya evangleism. ys, Sthita
