No problem, I'll not take personal offenses. My apologies (well, conditional ones) to Srila prabhu, in the same regard. > My primary > intention was simply to defend the right to take bonafide *sadhu-sanga* > irrespective of institutional (ie, "ecclesiastic") considerations. Interestingly, you hardly discussed that issue, and absolutely not on a neutral way that would leave "ISCKON" name out and simply address the phenomena (be it ISCKON or Gaudiya Math or any other institution or even sampradaya). Not even terms like "institution" have been defined. What to speak of any further "discussion". Your primal concentration was on 3 "topics": 1.The unconditional glorification of Narayana Maharaja (along him other Gaudiya Math acaryas) as the impeachable mahabhagavata(s), the one(s) to save us all. 2.The consistent defamation of ISCKON gurus and the leadership 3."How to blast away Unbeliefs" > I am NOT advocating for everyone to surrender to Narayan Maharaja and > accept him as the next acarya. This a straw-man argument. You are wrong. It is not a straw-man argument. There is very explicit demand on ISCKON and ISCKON gurus/leaders to **surrender** their disciples to Narayana Mahraja. The whole letter from Ravindra Swarup (that I quoted one "chapter" fom) is the REPLY on such direct demand made publicly by Agraya, who is one of Narayana Maharaja's main man in this field of "preaching" to ISCKON devotees. But you are too naive fo all this, ain't you? You just happened to get your bottle with the honey into your pinky little tiny hands, and got to tell us how the honey is sweet sweet sweet... What do you know about all that world around, about that what's popularly called "Narayan Maharaja controversy". OK, we have noticed in any case your declaration that you do NOT do it. Well, somebody esle does. I want't tell you the name(s). I have gotten enough projectiles on my head already. > > I respecfully submit, however, that Ravindra Svarupa Prabhu has made a > great transgression of Vaisnava etiquette (*maryada-vyatikrama*) against > Narayan Maharaja by his inappropriate action. Note that I am pointing out a *particular BEHAVIOR*, I am not making a > not a categorical judgment about his character What is the use of this your "respectful submitting" here, when you first blast away him with all your artillery. So, yes, let's all look at that *particular BEHAVIOUR* of Ravindra Swarup that Srila is so furious for: - Agraya prabhu writes publicly, on the VNN, that the ISCKON gurus and the spiritual leaders got to bring their disciples to Narayana Maharaj, on the base of NM being a mahabhagavata. If they don't do so, then they (SCKON gurus) are guilty of possessives and NM has right to re-initiate their disciples even without their agreement. - Ravindra Swarup replies, giving the list of points (one among then being NM's deviation from the line of Bhaktisiddhanta) in which he presents his sincere doubts that NM is indeed of such high status (a mahabhagavata) to be unconditionally followed by ISCKON. - Now both Ravindra Swarup and anybody else who repeats/hears his words is accused by you for "maryada-vyatikrama", as you said it already couple of times. First aggression on ISCKON to bring the disciples/members to NM (particularly from Ameyatma, in this instance). And when an ISCKON leader gives the reasonable explanation on why they (ISCKON gurus/leaders) are not willing to do as per demand, then instead of addressing the very points in the reply, the another attack is being lunched here -- "Deliberate intention of putting down Narayana Maharaja". That is quite enough, speaks well enough of you, the promoters of Narayana Maharaja. The aggression is your "astra". And if someone gives the reasons why he wouldn't follow, then cut of his head with your "sadhu-nindha". -- mnd
