Is it Srila Prabhupada's, really? Yes. If you don't know why comment out of arrogance. Quote Srila Prabhupada, then someone might give your comments serious consideration. And I have not said varnasrama college does not include sadhana activities. But the spiritual practices are in accordance with the varna of the bhakta. There are certain practices suited for brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya and sudra. "Bhagavan: The children in the society will go to Gurukula and from there it will be decided what their work will be? Srila Prabhupada: Yes. First of all there should be instruction on spiritual life ACCORDING TO HIS POSITION. Our spiritual life is the main thing we should always remember but for management we have to make divisions." "Devotee: Is the sudra supposed to take sannyasa also? Srila Prabhupada: No. Those who are sudras, they should not be allowed to take sannyasa only those who are qualified brahmanas will be allowed to take sannyasa." > Don't expect from the people joining a Hare Krsna temple to be > doing it so out of their interest to get some occupational, varna > training. Where are you coming from? (in my "motherland", one would > say, "Have you dropped here from a Mars?"). Believe me, Prabhu, I KNOW this. Unfortunately it doesn't say much for the Hare Krsna movement. We want that they are coming to find occupation according to their varna and to chant Hare Krsna; that is the purpose. The Hare Krsna movement has left out at least half of the equation. And the "fruits" are apparent. I don't think too many people are coming to the Kare Krsna temple anymore because they realize the incredible hypocracy. Gurus having homosexual sex with children, physical abuse, sexual abuse, etc. A lot of this crap in the holiest dhama, Vrindavana. Great statement for a temple? > Where are you getting your ideas from? If it is not their guna karma, natural varna, they are much better engaged in the plow department or trade or management. They will be happy and make advancement. Do you think everyone should HAVE to go out on book distribution or whatever they have to distribute? Where is your reference to scripture or Srila Prabhupada for this? "Srila Prabhupada: Some of you are preaching and some of you are cleansing the temple. That does not mean that a sannyasi who is preaching, he is better than that man who is cleansing. The position of Vaisnava is the same. But for management one is cleansing, one is seeing to the construction, one is going to preach, like that. That should be there."
