Micromanagement, even in the name of VAD, will kill the natural enthusiasm of the human being. In Alachua, we are finding a wide variety of schools are being established with different intensities of devotional programs and techinical facility. For instance, in the ashrama schoool I had refered to previously, there is a strong program along brahminical lines. All the devotees in that school are allowed to attend only after showing a strong personal interest to be there. It doesn't matter what their parents think, in one sense. It is entirely dependent on the intesity of desire on the part of the student to voluntarily participate in the lifestyle afforded by the ashrama. Similarly, different schools are offering various other programs within our devotional community. This is natural, in my mind. That some devotees wish to propagate a heavy big brother approach to VAD is most disturbing. I mean, one such pleasant soul has implied he's coming to town with his six-shooter ablazing. This kind of KC can be seen as simply being the same sauce as we previously relished in the past, only now in a different bottle. Brahmanas guide without become control freaks. ys, Sthita
