Guest guest
Prabhu, I am sorry but I did not mean to be offensive. It is not "carrying a prostitute" to carry on a discussion involving our philosophy and the instructions of our spiritual master. I am amazed you could call it that... I again say what I said before: To protect such saintly people, under the advice of the brahmanas, from the fear of attack from ferocious animals and men, certainly makes sense. In order to do so, the devotee would even kill such attackers, as much for the purpose of protecting the sinful attackers from committing this sinful activity as for the purpose of protecting the saintly dependents. Ferocious animals and men- I would personally put Keechaka in this category. He tried to pollute the most chaste Draupadi, therefore Bhima gave a most just punishment. Same with Duryodhana, who was most heinous, and by implication the men who supported his atrocities. This is religios killing. My understanding of that Mahabharata story is that the Pandavas were not aware of the presence of the five chandalas. They were not invited in to their death. I agree it is difficult to stay devotees in this age, but we have to be aware what devotee is. He is by nature soft-hearted. But above even that he has love for Krsna, and obedience to Him. That is why and how Arjuna gave up his aversion to killing. There was also Krsna's assurance that such killing benefitted those involved,We have to be concerned with pleasing Krsna only. Again, I aM SORRY FOR ANY OFFENSE, Your servant, Niscala ____ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
