Okay. This is first hand experience:

 

On my return in 1980 from visiting Srila Sridhar Maharaj in Navadwip I passed

thru Chicago where I shared my experience with the swami. He then procedded

to BLASPHEME Srila Sridhar Maharaj.

 

A decade later, and after an apparent change of heart, I confronted the swami

in San Francisco for an explanation or apology. Neither was forthcoming.
