Guest guest
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Age Body Occupation Training Spiritual experiences Cultural circumstances Personal history Different services performed Mercy recieved Sacrifices Quality of chanting Fall downs Future Maybe the prostitute became a vaisnava maybe I should be careful when judging others while simultaniously trying to improve my self Or: dont criticize your neighbour before you have walked a mile in his shoes. A society will also have to look at all the different circumstances and the consequences of past actions in order to improve it self. And they do that. Are we studying our history seriously, taking all the above things into consideration? Do we have statistics proving our statements, when we say that most marriages break because of this and that, or that most devotees leave or join because of this or that? Have we systematically evaluated our progress/failures on different levels as individuals and as a society during the past 30 years? If not maybe we should get started. Of course that would demand truthfulness and cooperation instead of fighting and word-jugglery. But the whole matter might be a lot more complex than we think.(Remembering the story of the blind men each trying to describe the elephant according to their own conception) Your servant Gunamani d.d.
