On that basis, when Srila Prabhupada says, "However great a > woman may be, she must be ready to carry out her husband's orders and > please him in all circumstances. Then her life will be successful" I take > that as perfect instruction for the kala-patra-desa in which we now happen > to live. It seems you did not catch my point, Prabhupada is saying "However great a woman may be" (No statement that a woman can be nothing else than a servant of her husband) no she can be a great woman, but still she must be ready to carry out her husband's orders (out of religious duty and etichete and please him in all circumstances. Then her life will be successful." (SB 9.3.10P) So she may please her husband and still be a great woman (by varna qualification) - relative truth. > I don't mind if others may take me to be a brainwashed cult member because > I believe wholly and solely in such statements as the above.
