However, from another perspective, brahmanas and kshatriyas are exactly

equally important. They need each other to function properly....

they may be,and no expert kshatriyas to execute their wise directions, then

also everything goes haywire. And even if you have learned brahmanas and expert

kshatriyas, you will not get a prosperous and well organized society if there

is no money.

Yes, you need competant everything, but without some actual brahminically

inclined devotees, you won't have much to manage. The ksatriyas need a healthy

brahminical community in order to properly structure society along

administrative lines. Therefore, it seems that actually intelligent ksatriyas

would foster policys that encouraged brahminical culture.

We see this to some idea in the West, albeit in a very crude, unfocused form,

where they claim to protect freedoms of the press, speach and religion, and

dump tons of money into their various educational institutions.

As for the example you gave, if we had mature brahminical leadership to begin

with, we may not have the sort of problems we are currently finding ourselves

forced to deal with. But then, getting such mature devotees is not something

you can order online. It is a difficult age, and we are trying to cultivate

such things under less than ideal conditions.

Personally, I would agree the idea that ksatriyas need some scrawny back-seat

driver tugging on their ear has been a bit overdone in the name of Vedic

culture.
