Pariksit Maharaja is described similarly. > These are examples to be glorified, not condemned. Do you agree? At least you are sailing away from that "zombi" argument "It was not instructed by Prabhupada". Otherwise, I would be able to write you the whole checklist book of possible ways of wasting time, that hardly anybody in this ISCKON could be passing successfully. Especially when one is put on a wall to be compared with Naradaji or Pariksit Maharaja. Are you really in such deep illusion to think that everybody here is unaware how "kicking a ball" is not really a pure devotional service, hence a waste of time? You seem to got that deeper insights of how to be executing a pure life of a mahabhagavata style that none else have ever heard about here. Can you simply understand that people are not mahabhagavatas, and that some will still like to get out on a field sometimes and kick a stupid ball with a stupid foot? Really, who does bother what you have read in Srimad bhagavatam how Narada Muni has never kicked a ball in his life. > > Many think exactly as you do, prabhu. But the great souls pray that they > may *give up* their puny independence to simply become the "dog of the > spiritual master." Now we need not wonder how the psychiatrists, > sociologist, scholars, etc. will diagnose someone who desires to become > the *dog* of another person!--or do we? I really don't bother myself how they will diagnoze what. I just happen to see for myself some crazines and medness around disgusied in "Prabhupada instructed so; Prabhupada did not instruct it". I guess it must be just me being crazy myself or otherise I would see just all pure and sweet Krsna consiousness devotees passing down the nectar of Srimad-bhagavatam all the time onto others heads. And you perhaps better not be trying to impress others with your shastric knowledge of "simply become a dog of the spiritual master". You appear to have no idea what some of us might have undergone in our lives in ISCKON. Too many gurus in ISCKON have deserted and left their dogs tooling painfully. To become a *dog* of a guru in ISCKON may be at the moment for many the most stupid thing to do (again) in life. Please, stop rubbing our noses with "our puny independence" and "guru's dog" demagogy. Too many have already got mentally and emotionally screwed up with it. No need of any professional psychiatrist, sociologist, scholars, etc. to "diagnose". Everybody may see it. Unless the eyes are shut tightly. But, what this "dog of the guru" has anyway to do with our sanity to find it our for ourselves wether "to kick a damn ball or not to kick a damn ball"? - Mahanidhi das
