Guest guest
Dear Mahadyuti and all devotees, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and his faithful followers! As Mahadyuti did, you may also wonder from where Steven Rosen got all these details concerning Srimati Jahnava Ma. I am happy to inform you that Satyaraja prabhu (Steven Rosen) is a disciple of Srila Prabhupada and a great vaisnava scholar. He has written many books such as "the Six Goswamis of Vrndavan" or philosophical essays such as the "Reincarnation controversy". All his books are based on the writings of our Previous Acaryas. "Sri Panca Tattva" was published in 1994 by Brhat Mrdanga Press. You will find a complete bibliography at the end of this book where 23 books from vaisnava literature are recorded; such as : Bhakti-ratnakara, Caitanya-bhagavata, Caitanya-mangala, Caitanya-Nityananda-Jahnava tattva by Gopala Bhatta or Prema-vilasa by Nityananda das (Bengali) etc. An ocean of nectar for those who have faith in the Teachings of previous Gaudiya vaisnavas. Satyaraj prabhu gives all details on these editions for you to check. Many interesting information for doubtful persons. Now, if you wish to know more about this Kheturi Festival or about the prominent position of Srimati Jahnava Ma as a bonafide acaryani in the Gaudiya-vaisnava sampradaya, you may be interested to read the chapter called 'Narottam Das Thakura' in Satyaraj's other book called: "the Lives of the Vaisnava Saints, Shrinivas, Narottam Das Thakura and Shyamananda Pandit". >From pages 90 to 100, in this other book, Satyaraj prabhu describes Jahnava Ma's outstanding vaisnava qualities and Her position as Lord Nityananda's personal sakti. A very devotional chapter for those who are captivated by love of God in its most delicate features; highly recommended on this day. You may also want to contact Satyaraj prabhu for more information on this subject at: Steven J.
