And you are asking me for the reference for something that I accidentally did not say here. It is something commonly referred to Canakya Pandita. I even recall the given explanation (similar to the "DNA" that you explained), i.e. how remarried mother got to give the preference to the new husband's children, thus neglecting the previous husband's children. But can't go searching Prabhupada's books now, got no time. But I am positive it is somewhere there.
