Ofcourse one can increase more and > more as per the order of Shrila Prabhupada and the acharyas. Ultimately > constant chanting is the goal. > Instead of trying to invent a new process of bhajan, it wil be to our benefit to stick to what was giving and practise by our previous acaryas. What is the need for speculating. There are so many pseudo Vaisnava groups such as Gauranga-nagaris, bauls, sakhi-beki, etc., who manufacture their own processes of bhajans. Our real bhajan is following the process giving by our acaryas. Simplicity is Vaisnavism. A Vaisnava does not complicate process of bhajans. He remains simple by humbly following the path of the mahajans. ys, Isvara dasa.
Guest guest
Srila Prabhupada always adviced us to chant at least 16 rounds of the Maha mantra every day and encouraged us to chant more. I have never heard him advice the chanting of rounds with any other mantra. Once in Mayapura someone asked him in his room about the kirtans because they were chanting so many other things besides the Hare Krishna mantra, e.g. "Nitai Goura Haribol" extensively. Srila Prabhupada commented that they could chant their "Nitai Goura Hari bols' but that he would chant Hare Krishna and go back home back to Godhead. Your servant, Srutakirti dasa > > Why not extra rounds of the the Hare KRsna Maha Mantra. > > Did any acharya in our line chant rounds of r Gauranga and or Nityananada.? > > Did Srila Prabhupada eer recomend such a practice.? > > I would like to know where , besides the fertile mind of Sadhu Swami, these > idesa are coming from. >
