It is due to You that gods such as Bramhaa and others are engaged in activities of creation, preservation and dissolution. 2. Prostrations to You, Tulasi, the benevolent and dear to Lord Vishnu, You are the giver of wealth and liberation. 3. Tulasi, please protect me from all the dangers everyday and at all the times. You purify the devotees who sing or remember Your glories. 4. I bow my head to You, Tulasi devi, who brightens the body. Even sinners will be freed from sins after seeing You. 5. Tulasi protects all moving and non-moving things in the universe. At Your sight, You remove the sins of the sinful persons. 6. Prostrations to You, Tulasi, who helps to become free from the strong bondage of Kaliyuga. You bestow happiness to all including women and merchants. 7. There is nothing on this earth more divine than Tulasi. You have sanctified the vaishnavas due to the companionship with the Lord Vishnu. 8. In this Kaliyuga when a sprout of Tulasi is offered on the head of Lord Vishnu then it is the same as receiving all the blessings on devotee's head. 9. In Tulasi all gods reside all the time. Hence worshipping Tulasi means worship of all the gods. 10. Prostrations to You, Tulasi, the all-knower and consort of the Supreme Being. You bestow all wealth. Please protect me from all sins. 11. This prayer with deep thoughts has been composed Sri Pundarika. Lord Vishnu be worshipped daily be offering the beautiful petals of Tulasi. 12. Tulasi, SriMahalakshmi, Vidyaa, Avidyaa, Yashaswini, Dharmyaa, Dharmaa, Ananaa, Devi, Devadevamanahpriya 13. Lakshmipriyasakhi, Devi, Dyouh, Bhoomi, Chala, Achala: These sixteen names when sung by devotees, 14. They obtain the devotion to Lord Vishnu and also enter into His abode at the end. Tulasi is also known as Bhoomi, Mahalakshmi, Padmini and Sriharipriya. 15. Prostrations to Tulasi, You are dear friend of Lakshmi, benevolent, remover of sins, giver of spiritual qualities, praised by Narada rishi and Consort of Lord Naarayana.
