Definately. I like Hare Krsna Dasi's ideas to bring in people who have related expertise to teach us, in areas where we lack. Going outside for training runs the risk of bad association, which is a very important consideration (although some may be secure enough in their spiritual life to handle a lot of 'alternative' association) Srila Prabhupada even suggested allowing grihamedhis into our farms. Very broad minded. Yes the idea is to focus on Spiritual life, and not obsess on material expertise. But Prahbupada did want us to be a practical example of an alternative life, he wanted us to be expert, so lets do whatever we can do reach that state. > > Even demons can be expert in the Vedic arts, as per the example of > Hiranyakasipu, Duryondhana and Jarasandha.
