A fellow in NV set up such a thing. He made an outhouse with two stalls.

Under each stall is a concrete block containment structure. He uses one

side, keeping a bucket of sawdust that is used to cover the daily business.

When one side is full, he just closes it up and uses the other side. When

the second side is full, he empties the first side. That takes about a

year. It is a black , odorless product. To avoid even the remotest chance of

pathogens, he uses the compost on his flowers, although you could then throw

that stuff onto a regular compost pile that is heating up to make sure it gets

pastuerized.

Size of the containment structure would depend on number of users.
